The Slider Diner concept came from the team behind Sliders on Tyres, arguably one of Melbourne’s most renowned food trucks. The concept was a new flagship store in Seddon, Victoria that could provide locals and the foodie community in Melbourne alike with their delicious sliders, burgers, sides and boozy shakes. The PR campaign simply highlighted the need for a business like this in Seddon, the owner’s background in fine dining and food trucks and the delicious offerings.
As a result, Good Food, Broadsheet, Concrete Playground, TimeOut, Urban List, The Herald Sun and 35 other National publications wrote about the venue and thus a circulation of over 1.8 million was reached for the campaign. The impact that the campaign had on the business was that sales had risen by 40% throughout the 6-week campaign period.
